New choir in Rosthern

A new community choir in Rosthern, Saskatchewan, began rehearsals in January. About half the members are Mennonite. "The choir has been a good community builder," said conductor Duff Warkentin. The choir began rehearsals at the Station Arts Centre and quickly adopted the name "Station Singers." At their first concert on May 5, they performed at the Station Arts Centre to a sold-out crowd.
