TOWNSVILLE, Feb 24 AAP - Queensland Premier Anna Bligh says Opposition Leader Lawrence
Springborg has his head in the sand over the global financial crisis.

Mr Springborg on Tuesday told ABC Radio the crisis was a "peripheral" issue for Queensland,
and the premier had used it as an excuse to call an early poll.
